1Pcs Striking rare Calathea Rattlesnake live houseplant Live Plant
10009
Rattlesnake Calathea is a colorful addition to the prayer plant family! Its foliage is a combination of spotted light yellow-green and deep green with deep-purple undersides. By day, the leaves lay flat, then in the evening, they curl upwards as if they are in prayer. The Rattlesnake Calathea is easy to care for, making it a great first plant!
Keep soil evenly moist, but not soggy in warmer months. Water when top soil is dry to the touch in winter. Calatheas need added humidity- place in a humid room like a bathroom, or near a humidifier.
Bright to medium indirect light. Plants with white or light colored leaves need more light to help maintain color, but need to be protected from any direct sun.
Calatheas are part of the group of plants known as 'Prayer Plants' because their leaves fold upwards at night (or in low light) due to a process known as nyctinastic movement.
