Growing Instructions:

Seeds may be started in pots 6-8 weeks before last frost for best results. Otherwise, plants can be stratified one the fridge for 2-4 weeks in the fridge to speed up germination. They can sown without stratification, but it takes much longer, and germination rate will be very low. Seeds are best sown on the surface or 1/8 inch beneath the soils surface. Once transplanted and established, These plants will live for many years assuming you live in zone 4 or warmer. Plants don’t require much once established other than water and mulch. These plants are vigorous, and just a few of them can provide you with a full winter supply of tea. This plant prefers to grow in full sun, and soil that drains free from water.
